Just a short shuttle ride from the base of Aspen Highlands, stand in awe of the most photographed peak in North America, The Maroon Bells. Once you arrive to the lake, the best way to explore this area is by foot. There are both beginner and scenic routes. Any trail you pick will leave you speechless, with Crater Lake hike being the most popular with many beginner-intermediate hikers. Crater Lake allows you to venture past wildflowers and rock fields on the way to a lake with close up views of the Bells in all their glory.
