2. Sample Local Flavors

Get a taste of what Aspen has to offer, literally! While many world-famous chefs take up residence in Aspen, not all of them cook with locally sourced ingredients. Some of our favorite local restaurants include:

Ajax Tavern | French-American | $$

Après ski is what we do best in this town, and Ajax Tavern is the place to see and be seen! In the summer, the outside deck’s large umbrellas make for fantastic al fresco dining.

Pine Creek Cookhouse | Alpine Gourmet | $$

The Pine Creek Cookhouse is a mandatory stop during your Aspen vacation. The remote restaurant, located at the end of the Castle Creek Valley in the Elk Mountain Range, serves high-end American cuisine, and the views are to die for.

Bosq | Worldly New American | $$$

Bosq serves “New American” cuisine at their location in downtown Aspen. The menu changes seasonally and will never disappoint.

Element 47 | Refined New American | $$$

Element 47, located in the Little Nell, serves “Colorado contemporary cuisine.”

Cache Cache | Upscale French-American | $$$$

One of our favorite restaurants in Aspen, Cache Cache, is a downtown French-American bistro. Wine connoisseurs rejoice over the 5000 bottles of wine kept in stock.

3. Hit the Slopes

What’s a visit to Aspen/Snowmass without snowboarding or skiing?

The best way to ski or board like a local is to learn the proper technique. You can save on lift tickets, lessons, and rentals when you purchase at least seven days in advance online from the Aspen Ski Company. It’s one less thing you’ll have to do when you arrive.

Plus, if you let them know you’re renting an Aspen Signature Properties home, we can have your lift tickets waiting for you at the residence when you arrive, which means no waiting in line! Visit the site and make sure you are on the Winter Season by clicking the “Winter” tab and look for “Lift Tickets.” When prompted to select a delivery method at checkout, simply select “Deliver to Lodge,” then select “Aspen Signature Properties,” and we’ll ensure your tickets are waiting for you at the residence upon your arrival.
