The Lodge at Wildcat Ranch
Wildcat Ranch is a unique, gated community on 6,500 acres of private land just outside Snowmass Village, CO. Rarely do you find a retreat for everyone that combines outdoor activities and indoor fun with stunning views and privacy within 10 minutes of Snowmass and 20 minutes to Aspen. The Lodge at Wildcat Ranch is a perfect place for a getaway. Interiors were designed by renowned Aspen designer, Linda Bedell, the main house, is almost 11,000 sq. ft. and there is a two bedroom plus loft cabin for extra guests (snowshoe only in the Winter.) Upon arrival, you will be overwhelmed by the scenery inside Wildcat Ranch. The ridgelines, the forest of pine and Aspen trees and the majestic Snowmass Mountain range will leave you breathless as you take it all in.
Main Level: There is a formal living room with a wood burning fireplace, decks, and a Baldwin piano and is adjacent lower level of the library has a gas fireplace.. The private dining table expands to seat 12 guests and has a lovely stone hearth and gas fireplace. The country kitchen has a breakfast table for 6 and cozy seating area for 8. Chef’s kitchen has abundant counter and prep space, Sub Zero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, Electrolux double oven and gas stove with indoor grill. There are numerous outdoor entertaining areas including patio dining for 8 to 10 with a gas grill. Most patios have snow melt for ease in accessing the pool and hot tub during the winter season. There is also a private office and a spiral staircase that takes you to both levels of the extensive Library.
Upper Level: There is an ante-room to the upstairs Library which is a cozy place to relax with a book or enjoy a rest in the Butterfly Room on the Captains day bed. As you continue down the corridor, crafted as a Pullman train car, you will find 5 bedrooms, including the primary suite at the end, and each bedroom has its own unique personality.
Lower Level: There is an extended lower level which includes a play room with a gas fireplace, flat screen television, outdoor access to the yard and lake, a pool table (doubles as a ping pong table), gym with treadmill, exercise bike and a full set of stackable weights and a full bathroom with shower. If work is a necessity, there are several desks available for everyone. The bonus media room has a projection screen TV, and DVD player and a real stage for those who want to practice for their Broadway Debut!
Primary Bedroom: King Bed, en-suite bathroom with jetted spa tub, shower, double-vanity, walk-in closet, towel warmer, sitting area, with gas fireplace, private patio and Cupula for stargazing, private patio with mature Aspen Grove and perennial garden.
Guest Bedroom: King Bed, en-suite bath, with jetted, soaking spa tub, shower, and double-vanity, walk-in closet, towel warmer and TV, private patio with rocking chairs and views.
Guest Bedroom: Queen Bed, “Upper Tower Queen Suite” has a private bath, with tub/shower, single vanity, seating area and southern exposure views from the tower.
Guest Bedroom: Queen Bed, “Pullman Car Room” shares hall bath and closet, views to the East.
Guest Bedroom: Bunk Room, “Kiddie Car” 3 twin beds, loft play area, deck access, built in closet, shares hall bathroom.
Guest Bedroom: Twin Bed, “Upper Class Car” private hall bath with elegant pedestal sink and views to the East.
GUEST CABIN:
This secluded, charming guest cabin has a cozy feel, with an open floor plan including the living room, with desk, internet, music, wood burning fireplace and full kitchen with a dining table that seats 4, and opens up to a lovely front porch with a gas grill overlooking a small pond. The charming master bedroom with an extra day bed (twin) on the main level.
Primary Bedroom: Queen bed & Twin bed, hall bath with deep oversized tub and hand shower
Queen Bedroom: Queen bed, this bedroom accesses deck that is the length of the cabin, overlooks the pond and shares a hall bathroom.
Loft: Two twin beds, share the hall bathroom.
