The Best Aspen Breweries to Visit During Your Stay

 Aspen Brewing Company

One of the most famous places to get excellent beer is Aspen Brewing Company. This hotspot opened back in 2008 and was the first contemporary craft brewery in Aspen! Today, you can find barrel-aged brews like the Cougar (an exquisite aged-blonde) and unique seasonals that will make you want to come back again and again. Plus, their downtown taproom is open daily from 4 to 7 p.m. and often has live music.

Hops Culture

Another popular brewery in Aspen is Hops Culture. It’s a great place to go for cold beer and comfort food, especially if you’ve been exploring Aspen all day. Sit back, relax, and admire their amazing 30-line draft system. We highly recommend trying the food too, because everything is made from scratch. (One of our favorites is the Hops Cubano sandwich.) The brewery and gastropub is open daily from 11:30 a.m to 10 p.m.

Highlands Alehouse

Are you visiting Aspen during the winter to hit the slopes? What if we told you that you can enjoy some of the best beer in Aspen right on the mountain? That’s right — Highlands Alehouse has a prime location. You can take a break from the snow and sip on one of their 16 draft beers. The brewery also offers mouthwatering food to help you regain some energy before heading back to the slopes. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, including the pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and more.

Note: The Alehouse is only open during the winter, December 1st through April 14th. You can visit seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
